Senior Village Headman Munyona in Pemba district Constantino Dimuna says people in his village are scared of voting for referendum saying they are scared it may be like in the Kaunda era where a flog was party of symbol to vote no change of government.

Speaking to Radio Chikuni News, the traditional leader says due to lack of adequate information about referendum his subjects think that if they vote ‘NO’ or ‘YES’ it means that PF should continue being in power.

People are confused about this referendum thing and they are not willing to vote for the referendum. This is due lack of proper communication and sensitisation to the community. Headman Dimuna said.
