RTSA Public Relations Unit says in a statement rerealed to the media today that the January to December 2015 cards have all been printed and waiting for owners to pick them up from various receiving points across the country.
The statement further says the production for this year’s cards has started and the agency is expected to start dispatching them by September.
“Instead of calling, all applicants from last year should collect their cards from where they applied from and those for this year can be checked with us in September,” said in the statement.
It has been made clear to motorists that all temporal licenses remain valid until one collects their card.
All Drivers have also been advised to always carry their temporal licenses because it is their valid license at the moment.
The agency has since apologised for the inconvenience caused and urged all drivers to be patient as it clears the backlog.
