A SEXUALLY-STARVED housewife narrated in the Chawama Local Court that she could no longer hold her sexual desires, saying her husband has been deliberately denying her sex.
Janet Njobvu , 36, a salaula trader told the court that they have not had sex for seven months now.

This was heard in a case in which Janet of Misis Township sued her husband, Mavuto Zulu, 38, for marriage reconciliation. Bride price was paid.

She told the court that her husband a security guard at ‘G4 security firm’ was in the habit of telling her that he was exhausted every time he knocks off from work, a strategy she claimed Zulu used to deny her sex.

Janet said that Zulu was never home and the temptation in her was increasing which could lead her to some loner men in her neighborhood.

She told the court that Zulu has refused to be moved from his usual night working schedule into normal day so that she could have enough time with her husband.

But in his defense, Zulu alleged that he has always suspected Njobvu to have a sex affair with another man whom he named as Mwiinga.

“I have intelligence sources who have been telling me of what my wife she has been doing in my absence and that’s the more reason why I have deliberately started teaching her a lesson,” he maintained.

He told the court it is his responsibility to take a job that would bring food on the table.

Passing judgment, Magistrate Ganston Kalala advised the couple to first seek audience with elders and family members in order to resolve their misunderstandings.
