By Bright Chikele:
UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema has called on women in Zambia to start denying their husbands their conjugal rights if they support the Patriotic Front (PF).
Mr Hichilema while campaigning in Chingola said women should start blackmailing their husbands by denying them sex if they continued to resist joining and vote for him and his party.
Mr Hichilema, who was campaigning in Bemba, said women should convince their husbands to defect from the Patriotic Front (PF) to the UPND because the ruling party had brought joblessness and poverty on the Copperbelt.
He complained that the people of Chingola often turned up in large numbers for his rallies but did not vote for him and that was why he had been failing to win the elections.
Mr Hichilema told the people who attended his rally that political campaigns should start in the home and that the women should sit their husbands down and demand that they (husbands) should convert and join the UPND.
