The Zambia national football team coach George Lwandamina has invited 28 players from the domestic league for a five-day assessment programme as part of preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group E qualification match against Kenya scheduled for September 3.
The list of invited players was released to
fazfootball.com on Monday by Team Manager Stanley Kaseko who stated that the residential training camp will take place in Ndola from Sunday, July 31 to Thursday, August 4. He added that players have been advised players to report at Savoy Hotel by 18h00 on Sunday.

Zanaco captain Ziyo Tembo and Zesco United defender Simon Silwimba have both been included for the first time on Lwandamina’s list which sees the return to the fold of Christopher Munthali, Mweene Mumbi, Mwelwa Mwape Kondwani Mtonga, Misheck Chaila, Jackson Mwanza, Fackson Kapumbu and Rodrick Kabwe.
