Stefano Brizzi, 50, was jailed in December of 2016 for the murder and dismembering a police officer, was found dead in prison.
His body was found in his cell at Belmarsh prison on Sunday, this was confirmed by the Ministry of Justice. The Met police are treating the death as unexplained.
Brizzi is an Italian citizen and a former web developer at Morgan Stanley earning £70,000 a year, he lost his job due to his addiction to the drug and ended up as a social worker.
Brizzi was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of PC Gordon Semple and to serve a minimum of 24 years in prison.
PC Semple was lured to his flat for sex and drugs before been strangled to death, his body cut to pieces and attempted to dissolve the body in a pool of acid. Brizzi was copying a scene from Breaking Bad, a TV show.
Brizzi was also involved in cannibalism after a rib bone was discovered in his bin and have his lower teeth marks. He also claimed that the police officer who has worked for the Metropolitan police for 30 yrs died accidentally during a sex game. It took the jury 30 hours of deliberation to convict him of murder.
