Public Affairs Committee (PAC) will meet and present a detailed report with recommendations that the President needs to adress.While Speaking in an interview PAC spokesperson, Mr Mlomole said with emphasis that the president is already aware about the content which is in the report.
“Our Main objective is to hear from the President what he will do to overcome the current problems the country is going through that were mentioned in the Report.”Said Mr Mlomole.
Mlomole continued to say that PAC wants the President to come with a comprensive action plan.Despite knowing the contents but we want to know how he will deal with the challenges we are facing in Malawi that is why we are meeting him.“We are expecting that he will feed us with an action plan on how he has planned to solve the problems that have grounded the country,” he said.
Recently, Malawi leader Peter Mutharika has ignored a meeting with Public Affairs Committee (PAC) delegates which was aimed to offer solutions to socio-economic challenges that have devoured the country.
According to PAC, Mutharika was scheduled to meet the delegates on Wednesday, 30th March at Sanjika in Blantyre.However, State House postponed the meeting following another meeting that Mutharika had on the same day at the presidential palace.
Confirming the postponement, PAC Executive director Robert Phiri said they were going to wait for state house on the possible day to meet Mutharika.
“We are very confident that we will be given a date to meet the president to share with him some of the resolutions we have following a meeting we had in Blantyre,” said Phiri.
