One of the members of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Abdulmumini Jibrin, asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office on health grounds.
As we know, Mr. Jibrin, is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, said the president’s ill health is affecting the country badly in every aspect.
“Buhari should be encouraged to leave office and accept a negotiated exit. Nigeria can no longer afford a part time president at this time,”
He also encourage Mr Buhari to embark on a more moderately quiet life, get enough rest and have some quality time with his family most especially his wife.
He Mr. Jibrin is has been on suspension since last year after he was sanctioned by the House of Representatives because he openly accused the speaker of budget fraud.
Buhari is currently undergoing medical treatment for an undisclosed illnesses and have recently been to London where he stayed for weeks.
